Unmute Yourself: Conference on Bullying, Inclusion, and Mental Health in Schools

November 5 · 9:30–13:00 · Toplocentrala, Sofia

What do we know today about how students feel in Bulgarian schools, and what are we doing with this knowledge?

On November 5, UNESCO’s International Day against Violence and Bullying at School, the Single Step Foundation invites representatives of civil society organizations, institutions, schools, and experts to a conference on the safety and well-being of young people.

Program

• Registration: 9:30 a.m. | Start: 10:00 a.m.
• Presentation of the results of the third national survey on attitudes toward LGBTQ+ students in Bulgarian schools;
• Presentation of a study: The Cost of Emigration for Young LGBTQ+ People;
• Discussion panel on bullying in schools with organizations that work with children and young people every day.

After lunch, the day continues with the interactive youth forum Unmute Yourself - a showcase of youth NGOs, master classes, discussions, and a dance battle. We would be delighted if you stayed to hear young people speak live.

Admission is free with prior registration.
