Axioma now offers a sewing course for beginners in English - it takes your mind completely off your daily worries and you do something with your own hands! You’ll learn to use a sewing machine and create something yourself 🪡✂️

It’s designed for beginners, so you don’t need any previous sewing experience. Over 3 modules / 20 hours, you’ll gradually build your skills through practical projects:

👜 MODULE 1 - Tote Bag

📅 28-29 September | 16:00-19:00

Start from the basics: learn to use a household sewing machine, choose the right needles, threads and settings, sew handles and a French seam, attach a pocket and use decorative stitches.

🍳 MODULE 2 - Apron & Oven Mitt

📅 5-6 October | 16:00-19:00

Build on your first skills and learn to sew curves and ovals, long straight seams, professional hems and neatly finished pockets while working with different fabric thicknesses.

👘 MODULE 3 - Reversible Linen Kimono

📅 12-13 October | 15:30-19:30

Take the next step into garment making! You’ll learn the basics of working with a kimono pattern, assembling garment pieces, sewing shoulder/side/sleeve seams and finishing edges including working with lighter, more slippery fabrics.
