TENDER @ City Stage, Sofia | 17.10.2026

The British duo TENDER is coming to Sofia on October 17 - a new album, European tour, and the beginning of a new chapter.

The British electronic and alt-pop duo TENDER announces their return to the stage with new music, a new album, and a European tour that will also bring them to Bulgaria.

On October 17, City Stage will welcome TENDER for a concert in Sofia - part of the tour accompanying the announcement of their fourth studio album Where The Waves Break, which will be released in June 2026.

Tickets for the event are on sale through the Ticket Station network, starting at 29 euros.

The news of the concert comes on the same day that the band officially announces their upcoming new album – a project that marks the most confident and complete stage in TENDER's development. Where The Waves Break is an album about the tension between opposites – light and darkness, calm and chaos, confidence and doubt. Inspired by parenthood, growing up, and personal stability, the album is the first that TENDER fully self-produces – a sound that is more direct, more luxurious, and more confident than ever. Part of the project's concept is the gradual presentation of music inspired by lunar cycles – a metaphor for the emotional ebb and flow that defines the human experience.

Central to this new era is also “Heavy” – one of the key tracks from the upcoming album. The song is an honest and vulnerable portrait of personal crisis and self-awareness – about the moments when you have everything you need to be happy, but feel the weight of your own doubts. “Heavy” sets the tone for Where The Waves Break and showcases TENDER in their most direct and emotionally raw form yet.

Founded in 2015 by James Cullen and Dan Cobb, the TENDER project has established itself as one of the most recognizable names in contemporary electronic music, balancing the intimacy of bedroom pop with a grand, festival sound. With three critically acclaimed albums (Modern Addiction, Fear of Falling Asleep, and Flux), hundreds of millions of streams, and support from media such as NPR and Stereogum, the duo enters a period of complete creative autonomy.

The concert on October 17 at City Stage will include, in addition to new material, favorite songs from the band's catalog.
