Welcome to the third edition of the first chili festival in Bulgaria!

Sofia Chilli Fest is the only festival dedicated to chili culture in Bulgaria!
After the incredible success of the first two editions in 2024 and 2025, the event returns on an even larger scale, with new surprises and unforgettable flavors. The festival will gather producers, chefs, and chili enthusiasts from all over Europe in an exciting experience filled with fiery challenges, unique products, great music, and an amazing atmosphere.

What do we have prepared for 2026?

• Even more participants – expanding the festival area and new exhibitors.
• The area with exhibitors of spicy and gourmet products will be twice as large as last year, and we expect representatives from around the world.
• Culinary demonstrations – for the first time, top chefs will showcase the magic of chili in the kitchen.
• The World Final of the League of Fire will be with us! We expect the biggest names in chili eating from the global stage.
• A grand final for the Cup of Bulgaria – participation of the best competitors from Bulgaria and Europe.
• Special guest and host – the world-famous chili queen Shahina Waseem (UK), known as the UK Chilli Queen, and the founder of the League of Fire Paul Ouro (UK)
• A large stage with bands and DJ sets.
• An area with restaurants and bars.
• A special area for children.
• An amazing festival atmosphere!

League of Fire – The World Final of Chili Eating
League of Fire is an international organization dedicated to promoting competitive chili eating. It brings together enthusiasts and professionals from all over the world who compete for the championship title.

Sofia Chilli Fest 2026 will host the world final of the league, where the current world champion Stephen "Fiery Redd“ Curgan (USA) will face off against the title contender, the Bulgarian legend Nikolay Filipov (Bulgaria). This will be a spectacular show like never before!
League of Fire was created by world record holder Shahina Waseem (UK Chilli Queen), who is the most popular figure in the world of competitive chili eating. She will be back in Bulgaria for the event!

Spicy Food & Drinks
Come and experience the hottest experience in Bulgaria!

Bring a chili-loving friend and challenge them to a chili eating contest!

Within the festival, we will build a Spicy Food Court, where themed foods and drinks will be offered:

• Mexican quesadillas and tacos.
• Asian curries.
• Spicy wings combined with spicy cocktails.
• Ice cream with Jalapeno, Chipotle, or Habanero? We’ve done it before!

The Chilli Hills farm is located at the foot of Dolni Lozen – just 20 km from the center of Sofia.
