It is with great pleasure and joy that we invite you to an exceptional event in Plovdiv!

For the fifth time, our city will host some of the most beloved and respected artists in the global tango community – Carlos & Mirella Santos David!

🎼 All of our events in 2026 are united under the theme "Music matters!".

❤️ We are incredibly happy that Carlos & Mirella – artists renowned for their phenomenal musicality and deep understanding of the orchestras – will be our mentors in this October edition.

He is from Brazil, she is from the Netherlands. Together, they combine South American passion with European precision.

🏆 Two-time European Tango Champions (Tango Escenario 2025 & Tango de Pista 2017).
Multiple finalists at the World Tango Championship (Mundial de Tango) in Buenos Aires.
Jury members at the most prestigious international tango championships.

Carlos & Mirella are exceptional professionals, incredibly musical, profound teachers, and wonderful people whom the Plovdiv community knows and adores.

This event is designed as an intensive educational seminar. Instead of separate, unrelated topics, the four workshops on Saturday and Sunday will follow a unified, in-depth concept under the theme "Music matters!". It is aimed at raising your dance level and refining your technique in deep connection with the music.

📍 13:00 – 14:15 Part 1: Alterations: What, How, and When?
📍 14:30 – 15:45 Part 2: Musical Application: Using alterations to explore dynamics, flow, and ornaments.

All workshops and the Friday evening milonga will take place at "La Familia" Dance Center, Plovdiv, 2 Vasil Sokolov Str.

The milonga on Saturday evening will be held at Bar Excalibur, 44 St. Petersburg Blvd.
