[Plovdiv] Night of Entrepreneurs - Viktor Frances, Internet Entrepreneur and Activist

"Night of Entrepreneurs" is a monthly live event where we invite successful Bulgarian entrepreneurs to share what lies behind their results. Besides our questions, each attendee can also ask their own and join the conversation.

In October, expect Viktor Frances, internet entrepreneur and activist.

When he founded Orbital in 1997, Viktor did not just create a telecommunications company – he completely changed the rules of the game in Bulgaria. At a time when the market was just beginning, Orbital became a symbol of quality, dynamism, and innovation. It attracted investments from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – one of the first such strategic partnerships in our country – and reached a historic deal: the acquisition by Deutsche Telekom Group in 2006.

Viktor does not stop there. In 2015, he shifted his vision to Asia, where he co-founded Excitel Broadband – a company that today connects over 1 million households in more than 30 cities in India. As a board member and CEO of the holding in the Netherlands, Viktor drives the strategy, partnerships, and sustainable development of the company.

Outside of business, he is a father of four, a pianist at heart, and a passionate mountain biker. Since 2001, he has been a follower of the spiritual tradition of bhakti yoga, which gives him the inner discipline and balance to combine entrepreneurship, family, and social causes. Through the Kalpataru Foundation, Viktor dedicates time and energy to culture, spirituality, and knowledge – believing that business is not just profit, but also the responsibility to leave a mark.

Viktor Frances is a person who builds companies, inspires communities, and changes entire industries. His story is an example of how vision, courage, and discipline can turn an idea into international success.
