The duration of the course is one year. The training is in a daytime / weekend format.
The first part of the training includes mandatory theoretical subjects, which will be in online form. Later, special and practical subjects will alternate between online and in-person formats.
Practical classes will be held in our hall in Lyulin and at the Bulgarian Red Cross base in Lozen.
The general practice will be at the Emergency Medical Center under real conditions with emergency teams during the last month of training.
Documents for registration include:
A copy of your ID card and driver's license.
A copy of your high school diploma.
A medical certificate from your personal doctor (standard form, as for work) stating the Paramedic course.
4 passport-sized photos, as well as a personal data declaration and an application for the course, which we can send to you via email if you decide, so you can print and fill them out, or you can do it on-site when submitting the documents.
The training follows an established curriculum and is in accordance with the requirements of the new Diagnostic Therapeutic Protocols and Algorithms introduced for emergency medical services.
In preparing paramedics, the training is primarily focused on acquiring knowledge in the area of basic medical manipulations.
Behavior algorithms and stabilizing basic vital signs.
Working with medical equipment and apparatus found in the ambulance, including defibrillators, monitors, and ECGs.
This training is intended and suitable for all ambulance drivers, the staff servicing them, as well as teams working in: Emergency Medical Centers, Medical Centers, and emergency departments, the National Fire Safety and Rescue Service, the State Agency for Civil Protection, and all employees of emergency rescue teams and sanitary instructors.
Practical training is conducted under real conditions at the Emergency Medical Center in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, and others, with which the Center for Progress and Knowledge has contracts for conducting training.
The course fee is 1700 euros. It can also be paid in 5 installments of 300 euros and one of 200 euros, with the first payment due upon registration and the last before the practical training.
