🎭 SIGN UP YOUR YOUTH FOR AN IMPROVISATIONAL THEATER COURSE 🎭
in the youth group (13-19 years). The course will continue throughout the academic year with breaks during official holidays and vacations. The course concludes with a performance.

📍» WHO «
The course will be led by actor-improviser Toni Karabashev, who has over 15 years of experience teaching improvisational techniques to children and youth. He graduated in acting from NATFIZ “Kr. Sarafov” in the class of Prof. Krikor Azaryan and Assoc. Prof. Todor Kolev. He holds a Master's degree in “Artistic Approaches in Education” from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in partnership with NATFIZ “Kr. Sarafov”, as well as a PhD candidate in “Drama, Theater, and Animation in Education” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.

📍» WHAT «
– We will study the basic principles of improvisational theater through exercises in the form of games;
– We will develop our imagination;
– We will learn how to communicate effectively and understand others;
– We will learn specific techniques on how to cope with public speaking anxiety;
– We will learn to think according to the situation and how to engage in it without fear!
– We will learn to accept others' opinions while not being afraid to express our own and why someone else's idea is just as good as ours!
– We will learn teamwork and how to be a team of many individualities;
– We will have fun naturally;
– Finally, we will conclude with a performance - a showcase (presentation of what we've learned during the week);

📍» WHY «
– Improvisation develops skills that can be used in all situations (both personally and professionally).

• Improvisation focuses on what is happening here and now and is a form of art that allows a person to develop on many different levels. It is much more than the ability to get on stage with friends and come up with something fun.
• Improvisation is a great tool for developing leadership. It imparts important life skills that everyone needs.
• Improv skills develop several types of intelligence from which a young person can derive numerous benefits.

– The venue is specially adapted to the needs of the course and is in a conveniently accessible location.
– The course is suitable for everyone! It is not necessary for you or your children to have any desire to develop in the field of theater. The improv techniques we will be working on have long been used in Western countries in various social therapy groups to reduce stress and develop unconventional thinking, as well as communication skills and positive communication.

📍» WHEN «
You can participate in the Open Lesson, in one of the two groups or both:

• October 3rd, 10:00 - 12:30 (Saturday)
• October 4th, 16:00 - 18:30 (Sunday)

The improv course will start regular sessions on the weekend of October 10/11 and will continue every weekend, on the day and time you choose (Saturday 10:00 - 12:30 or Sunday 16:00 - 18:30).

📍» HOW MUCH «🔅
The first visit is completely free. When registering for the regular course, a monthly fee of 68 euros (4 visits) is charged.
