High Vis are arriving in Sofia with an explosive mix of post-punk and modern rock. The British band will shake the City Stage on June 16 with their energetic and socially engaged sound.
On June 16, City Stage will host one of the most exciting new bands on the British alternative scene – High Vis. The band confidently blurs the lines between hardcore, post-punk, and indie rock, coming to Sofia to present their intense and emotionally charged sound – direct, raw, and simultaneously melodic.
Tickets for the event go on sale on March 27 at 12:00 PM through the Ticket Station network, starting at 25 euros.
Formed in 2018, High Vis quickly established themselves as a name that not only follows the traditions of the hardcore scene but also develops them in a new direction. Their music combines the aggression and energy of the genre with influences from Britpop, neo-psychedelia, and even Madchester groove, creating a unique balance between infectious melodies and raw power. With their debut album No Sense No Feeling (2019), they expanded the boundaries of the style they define as "post-industrial British misery punk" – a sound born from the social reality and inner tension of modern life.
With their second album Blending (2022), featuring strong tracks like "Talk For Hours" and "Trauma Bonds," the band takes a significant step forward. Not only do they broaden their musical range, but vocalist Graham Sayle also adds deeper emotional weight to the lyrics – candid, vulnerable, and addressing social and political themes. Despite the darkness often present in their work, High Vis's music carries a clear message of connection and hope.
The concert of High Vis in Sofia will be an opportunity for the audience to feel this energy live – direct, uncompromising, and completely captivating.
