The Royal National Ballet of Georgia presents a unique dance performance "The Fire of Georgia".
The "Royal National Ballet" showcases a grand dance show demonstrating incredible technique. Caucasian rhythms, dynamic, refined movements, and passionate performances fully reflect the name of the program "The Fire of Georgia". The exceptional dance numbers featuring daggers and sabers will be an unforgettable spectacle for every viewer. The masterful staging and colorful costumes will help you embark on an unforgettable journey through ancient Georgia.
The "Royal National Ballet of Georgia," under the direction of Gela Pochkashvili and Maya Kiknadze, has been performing on stage for over 30 years.
More than 40 million people in 80 countries have applauded the dancers, who amaze the audience with their superb technique, unmatched artistry, courage, and unrestrained expression that is unique to Georgian dance. The artists of the theater continuously gather and study authentic national dances, seek new contemporary choreographic solutions, and offer stage miniatures, short stories, and full performances illustrating the past and present of the Georgian people.
The new choreographic program "The Fire of Georgia" is a bright, colorful, lyrical performance that allows you to touch the original Georgian culture and immerse yourself in the enchanting world of dance, where the jewel-like movements, style, elegance, and emotionality of Georgians harmoniously combine. The uniqueness of the program lies in the fact that a fundamentally new approach has been used in its preparation: "The Fire of Georgia" is not a selection of individual dance numbers, but a complete performance unified by a common idea and plot. All of this, combined with picturesque costumes and grand decorations, captures the viewer's attention and does not allow them to catch their breath or take their eyes off the action unfolding on stage from the moment the curtain opens until the final exit of the dancers.
The "Royal National Ballet" of Georgia tours in almost all countries around the world. From 1990 to the present, the theater has performed in Austria, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece, India, the USA, Spain, Egypt, France, Japan, ten times in Italy, England, New Zealand, Australia, Turkey, Israel, and more. There are a huge number of excellent reviews and feedback in the press regarding the theater's tours.
The "Royal National Ballet of Georgia" is in a constant process of gathering, studying, and developing national dances in a modern direction, creating new choreographic miniatures, short stories, and performances illustrating the past and present of the Georgian people. With the participation of talented artists, Gela Pochkashvili creates a show theater. In this theater, new thinking in the field of dance in a modern direction gains great significance. Based on traditional Georgian dances, new works of contemporary national choreography are created here. Developed in this direction, Georgian dance will take its rightful place in world choreography.
