"Fundamentals of Osteointegration," or
Classical Chinese Medicine for Osteopaths.
The seminar program is developed within the framework of the college's integrative approach and aims to combine the principles of classical Chinese medicine, osteopathy, fascial concepts, and clinical thinking.

MAIN GOAL OF THE SEMINAR

To teach the osteopath to understand the fundamental principles of classical Chinese medicine, navigate the meridian system, work with ancient points, and integrate this knowledge into osteopathic thinking.

MAIN IDEA OF THE SEMINAR

The meridian is viewed as a functional-fascial system of the organism, connected with fascia, the nervous system, fluids, organs, posture, and the body's adaptive mechanisms.
The point is considered an entry into the organism's adaptive system.

DAY 1
FUNDAMENTALS OF CLASSICAL CHINESE MEDICINE

THEORY

  • Philosophy of classical Chinese medicine
  • The organism as a unified system
  • Concept of adaptation
  • Movement of Qi
  • Yuan Qi, Zong Qi, Zhen Qi, Wei Qi
  • Yin and Yang
  • Wu-Xing (Five Elements)
  • Main meridians of the organism
  • Yin and Yang meridians
  • Jing Luo
  • Luo vessels
  • Superficial and deep connections of the meridians
  • Meridians and fascial lines
  • Entrances and exits of the meridians
  • Direction of Qi movement
  • Relationship between meridians, posture, and movement

PRACTICE

  • Preparation of the osteopath's hands
  • Development of sensitivity
  • Basic palpation of the meridians
  • Diagnosis of areas of excess and deficiency

  • Palpation of the meridians of the lung, stomach, bladder, kidneys, liver, and gallbladder
  • Practice in finding the entrances of the meridians

ANCIENT POINTS AND THEIR QUALITIES

THEORY

  • The point as an entry into the system
  • Neurovascular concept of the point
  • Fascial connection of the point
  • Five qualities of the point:

-Temperature
-Density
-Tension
-Painfulness
-Emptiness

ANCIENT POINTS
Application of ancient points taking into account the individual Qi according to the date of birth, selection of the quality of Qi to restore the balance of the entire system.
Corrective Qi and points for restarting.
We will discuss how to account for Qi on the current day for more effective therapy according to the individual patient's chart.
Each meridian will be examined in detail:

  • Wood Point
  • Fire Point
  • Earth Point
  • Metal Point
  • Water Point

We will study:

  • Yin and Yang qualities of ancient points
  • Movement of energy
  • Nourishing
