On October 11th at 5:00 PM in the "Bulgaria" hall, the Sofia Philharmonic invites its curious listeners and their families to a new musical adventure from the Fortissimo Academy series. Following the success of educational concerts in recent seasons, the cycle continues with a program dedicated to one of the most beloved European composers – Edvard Grieg.
The audience will discover the world of the Norwegian master through his music, learn interesting stories about his life, and understand how the composer transforms nature, folk legends, and human emotions into unforgettable melodies. As always in Fortissimo Academy, the music will be presented in an accessible and engaging way, turning the concert into a true adventure for listeners of all ages.
Conducting will be Lyubomir Denev Jr., and the soloist is the young pianist of Bulgarian descent, Antoni Sintov-Berens.
The concert is yet another proof of the Sofia Philharmonic's consistent policy to support young Bulgarian musicians. The two performers attract attention with their talent and professional development, and their participation in Fortissimo Academy is an opportunity for the young audience to meet the future stars of the Bulgarian music scene early in their creative journey.
Fortissimo Academy is among the most successful educational initiatives of the Sofia Philharmonic. Through music, storytelling, and meetings with talented performers, the project has been inspiring children for years to discover the beauty of classical music and to become its future audience.
