2026 Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival

Our 7th annual Sydney Science Fiction Film Festival will unfurl at EVENT Cinemas George Street, the flagship site of our venue partner.

In 2026, the line-up promises a cross-section of long- and short-form speculative storytelling from Australia and across the planet; retrospective screenings of some of the most revered sci-fi films ever made; animated works that push the limits of the imagination; and, documentary works that capture real-life wonder.

Stay tuned for regular line-up announcements as we near our full program reveal...
