St Vincent’s Hospital, University of Melbourne Surgical Forum 2026

We are pleased to announce the St Vincent’s Hospital, University of Melbourne Surgical Forum 2026 will be held as a Hybrid event, Monday, 20 July 2026 in the Aikenhead Centre For Medical Discovery (ACMD), Auditorium, Level 1, 27 Victoria Parade, Fitzroy and via Zoom(the link will be sent via email once registration has been completed).

The theme of the 2026 Forum is, "The Future of Surgery: From Generation Z to Next-Generation Care".

The Sir Hugh Devine Oration and Vellar Foundation Lecture, along with the John Clarebrough Memorial Lecture will be incorporated again this year.

The Peter Ryan Prize for Surgical Research for the best presentation from junior medical staff, will also be included again in the program, a plaque commemorating the achievement will hang in the Department of Surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital.
