Kate DeAraugo

Platinum selling ARIA winner Kate DeAraugo became a household name in 2005 after winning Australian Idol, releasing number one singles, performing multiple sell out tours and being a founding member of one of the most successful girls groups in Australian history, the Young Divas.

Now, twenty years later, she returns to the stage with a renewed passion for music and zest for life.

Making her debut at Birds Basement, she will be joined by a live band for an evening celebrating the songs, stories and moments that have shaped her career and journey through life.

Audiences can expect favourites from her Australian Idol journey, selections from her debut album A Place I’ve Never Been, brand new unreleased material, and a collection of beloved songs that have inspired her along the way.

Join Kate and her band for an intimate evening of music, storytelling and connection as she reflects on two decades in the spotlight and shares the next chapter of her musical journey.
